2、Introduction:
Fluorescent Brightener MST is a derivative of diaminostilbene disulfonic acid
. Similar foreign products include Uvitex MS, Whitex BE, and Blankophor BBH. Its chemical name is 4,4-disodium sulfonate. This product is easily soluble in water, stable in acid, and has high direct affinity for natural fibers. It can dissolve in water in any proportion. Under any conditions, it can dissolve uniformly in any multiple of water and quickly and evenly disperse in fibers, ensuring stable fabric quality. Fabrics are less prone to yellowing. Due to MST's high yellowing point, it can be continuously layered and accumulated to achieve a high visual whiteness.
3、Applications:
Fluorescent Brightener MST is mainly used in the pad dyeing process of natural fiber fabrics. In application, it has broader adaptability compared to BA and VBL brighteners. It can whiten silk fabrics, animal fibers, and polyamide fibers in acidic media. It can be used in the same bath with peroxide or reducing agent bleaching solutions and also has excellent whitening effects on viscose fibers, nylon, paper, and laundry detergents.
4、Features:
Fluorescent Brightener MST, with its unique blue-purple light, makes fabrics appear brilliantly white from the inside out. Its application in coating is more effective than other types of brighteners, even better than ordinary hexasulfonic acid series brighteners. However, due to its higher cost, it is generally not used in coating or surface sizing for cost considerations.
